She may have started late but my 7 yr old Princess loves her helmet. It adjust to be snug, but not brain crushing! LOL I back this product.

This helmet seemed bulky when I first got it out of the box but the interior padding is very nice, and the adjuster in the back works great. my 7 yr daughter was walking around with it on just for fun. He said it was way more comfortable that his previous helmet (which was only a month old). He said it felt lighter and more comfortable.
